Water extraction area Schalterberg
Today, I wandered through the forest near Schalterberg, where the water extraction area is located. The peaceful sound of water gently flowing through the landscape added a tranquil rhythm to the walk. The trail led me deeper into the woods, where the trees, adorned in autumn's vibrant palette, stood tall against the sky.
As I explored, I spotted a variety of mushrooms scattered throughout the forest floor. Some were tiny and delicate, poking through the leaves, while others were larger, standing proudly on mossy logs.
It was a reminder that nature, even in its smallest details, offers beauty if you take the time to notice. The mushrooms, hidden gems of the forest, were as much a part of the ecosystem as the towering trees around them. This walk reminded me how interconnected and fragile nature can be, and how lucky I was to witness such simple wonders.
